Comfortable and great for exploring Yokohama

3 beds is great for our little family! It is expected to be small so this is not a deal breaker. The view from the room is amazing. The breakfast is good (novel pancake machine), french toast that melts in your mouth (the only thing the little one will eat), the desserts and cakes are amazing and the surprise is the mapo tofu. It is authentic and yummy with rice. I like the go green initiative about taking amenities you need. Housekeeping is good and the staff is kind and friendly. Efficient check out that can handle peak hour volume.

The dipping pool is full of couples soaking in it and social media photo opportunities. It is less of a family oriented hotel in this way.

Hotel is up 20th floor, the building mix business and hotel, hotel doesn't have big sign on the building, we arrived at night time was around that area more than hour to find hotel entrance .

Fabulous

The Mitsui Garden Hotel Yokohama is conveniently located close to transport links and the shopping malls. We enjoyed excellent service from the moment we arrived for our 4 night stay, right through to check-out. Nothing was ever an issue and the courtesy extend to my wife and I by all staff was outstanding. Our corner room on L24 was spacious, spotlessly clean and had magnificent views of the City (especially at night) and the distant mountains, including Mt Fiji on the relatively clear days. The Hotel reception area on L20 is enormous and extremely inviting with a self-playing baby grand piano, beautiful seating areas (both indoors and in the fully glazed outdoors deck), a cosy Bar area and lovely views to the Port. A thoroughly well designed Hotel.

Nothing at all.... for us, everything was excellent.

Location is good. Hotel seems brand new. Loved the hairdryer.

Sheets were very rough. Air condition is too hot or too cold, hard to adjust (even if you only change 0.5 degrees)

Amazing experience

The breakfast was very good. we had so many options from international to Japanese, The staff were friendly and very accommodating to children. the cleanness is very impressive( they even clean the jacuzzi almost everyday - removing the water fully). we had the sea view room and it was really amazing, on the 2nd of June we had an exceptional view of the fireworks. we had a car and we could park it in the premises. the public transport is 5 minutes walking and there are many malls surrounding the hotel. we are a walking distance from the port and Cosmo world.

only the fact the our 4 year old was not allowed in the pool, but we understand that it is for a safety reason and they had stated that clearly.

Great location if you drive, a bit of funny access config

The room is airy, modern and clean, especially the corner rooms. It got a nice view into the city/harbour depends on tour room. The city view room is supposed to be able to see Mt. Fuji if the weather permits which I am not able to see during my stay. The room size is also decent being in the city core and can open 3 suitcases. The location is great for driving located jn a less busy side street. Lawson is located on the 2nd floor with internal access so you dont need to go outside. Short walking distance to nearby landmark shopping malls with lots of restaurants and shops. The staff are friendly and good at communicating in english.

The parking is the typical automated tower type with a car elevator that you can find in Japan. It's secured but prepares extra time to retrieve/park your car. The hotel also has a sky lobby so you need to transfer the elevator before getting to your room, just a tad bit inconvenient. The breakfast is disappointing. Variety is lacking and not much different per day. The quality is also below average in Japan.

Fabulous facilities in a superb loacation!

The location was close to a subway station and lots of shopping centers and eateries. Easy to walk to some attractions. The breakfast was great with a wide variety of choices asian and western. The staff was helpful and always professional. The sea view was amazing and the ambiance of the hotel was pleasant and relaxing.
